Accurate temperature, but not only!

An egg incubator needs:
– A good precision control of the hatching temperature.
– A timer to rotate the eggs periodically.
– For exotic birds some builders check humidity, but most of them just measure it.
– In the most refined systems, a small cyclical program is adopted which simulates short distances of the brood.

Here are the advantages of using a K Series or Kube Series instrument:

For the temperature:

The possibility of displaying and control on the basis of a measurement to the tenth of a degree allows (whether a PID or ON/OFF control is used) to obtain a stability that conforms to the needs of this type of “machine”.
When switched on, it is possible to activate the soft start function and/or the set point ramp at start; these 2 functions prevent the heating elements from reaching excessive temperatures during start-up, which would affect the uniformity of temperature inside the incubator.
For programmed temperature variations, the programmer function allows you to execute an infinite number of times a small profile that allows the egg to “breathe”.

For the “egg turner”:

The internal timer allows you to define the movement intervals and the movement time.

For the humidifier:

When humidification is managed manually, the U key can be programmed to directly control the nebulization pump (further simplifying the wiring of the machine).

Additional functions:

Some manufacturers wish to have a controlled temperature fluctuation, but do not want that fluctuation to be visible. In these cases it is possible to set a “window” filter (normally excluded) which does NOT affect the regulation, but keeps the display constant.
In the case of using a K30, it is possible to use a customizable operator panel that allows flush mounting (under an overlay). This solution allows maximum ease of cleaning of the control panel as well as complete aesthetic freedom.
Finally, the “parameter promotion” allows the manufacturer to freely define the HMI of the machine itself.
