ARS1, the Ascon Tecnologic’s solution to network controllers without RS485

Many customers need to connect controllers for the refrigeration world, typically cost-oriented and without a real serial port, to supervisory systems.

Ascon Tecnologic has created, in order to network controllers, ARS1. It is gateway / adapter which allows the connection between Modbus RS485 network and the TTL configuration port.

No settings

ARS1 has no parameters to set. In a transparent manner, it converts any data coming from the RS485 line into a TTL port compatible signal.

Simple installation

L’ARS1 perfectly fits with controllers thanks to a proprietary design that allows it to be placed both horizzontally and vertically on the controller’s case.

A simple cable allows you to connect the TTL port.

The two wire RS485 network can be wired on the two terminals available on ARS1
