Wine controller

KM1E is designed to meet the specific needs of the wine industry, for the heat treatment of wine and the different needs of the cellars.

KM1E is designed for precise temperature control during vinification, which requires a cooling step during fermentation, but also a heating step necessary to obtain certain organoleptic characteristics.
KM1E is factory-configured for standard wine applications (input for PT100, heating or cooling control, minimum and maximum alarm).
There is a simple procedure based on some parameters used to adapt this basic configuration to your needs, or to return to the factory configuration.

Functionality:
- Heating or cooling mode: selectable by keyboard (locked sequence to prevent accidental activation).
- Large top display (15.5mm) for displaying the measured temperature, with color change depending on the selected control mode:
RED top display: The setting is in heating mode (OUT2 relay).
GREEN top display: setting is in cooling mode (OUT3 relay).
AMBER top display: the instrument is heating or cooling (heating/cooling action).
OUT2 is used as heating output and OUT3 as cooling. This mode can be deleted if not needed.

- Lower display for programmed setpoint display (1 general setpoint or 2 configurable heating/cooling separate setpoints).
- Keypad or remote off setting with "STANDBY" message flashing on the secondary display.
- Adaptable to single-circuit fluid systems (heating-cooling single relay control).
- Low and high alarm with OUT1 relay output dedicated to probe break signaling or adjustment problems.
- Password settings protection, with the ability to define some free access settings for the operator for intuitive and secure use.
- Saving the full configuration on key A01 (a single-click device configuration) or on PC.
- Remote control via 2 digital inputs (heating/coling switching, heating setpoint/cooling setpoint, automatic setpoint/standby switching, alarm detection, etc.) or via Modbus communication (RS485 or Ethernet TCP/IP with AET1 accessory).
- EVOgreen function (low power mode, in the absence of operator): reduced energy costs to meet environmental requirements.
- Connections: 16 screw terminals 2.5 mm² (AWG22 ... AWG14) on fixed, removable or spring terminal blocks.
